Lots of\u00a0recent downed trees midway. Lower portion nice, shady cypress swamp. Upper portion more open, nice trees, flowers, etc. I saw five <strong>Swallow-Tailed Kites<\/strong> lazily chasing each other. Took a swim in the head spring. There are actually <strong>several springs<\/strong> along the upper creek, big blue holes underwater. Incredibly <strong>I met an airboat<\/strong> coming downstream. He just &#8220;blew&#8221; himself over the downfalls. Otherwise I did not see anyone else except <strong>a big gator who &#8220;growled&#8221; at me<\/strong>. That got the adrenaline going!
