What a feast!\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\nThe motto: &#8220;The thought is in the question. The information is in the answer.&#8221; What does that even mean?!\n<\/p>\n\n\n<hr \/>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The 1916 Prius<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\nI was surprised to see &#8220;gasoline-electric&#8221; mentioned on the first page!\n<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/richard.rathe.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/electric-guide-1916-2.jpg\" alt=\"First Page\"\/><figcaption><em>First Page<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\n&#8220;It is evident that the short coming in each case can be overcome only by combining the gas engine with a dynamo connected to a storage battery\u2026&#8221; <em>Wow! 1916 and they already had hybrids!!<\/em>\n<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/richard.rathe.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/electric-guide-1916-4.jpg\" alt=\"Gasoline-Electric Vehicles\"\/><figcaption><em>Gasoline-Electric Vehicles<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\nNot sure why they felt hybrids weren&#8217;t good as &#8220;pleasure vehicles?&#8221; A bit of speculation here\u2026 There is no mention of having a personal vehicle for getting to work.
